Florida PACE Centers Site Director, Miramar

For the past five years, I have been the site director for Florida PACE Centers Miramar. My job is to help keep everything running smoothly, ensuring our participants receive the personalized medical care, social services and assistance they need to continue living independently, as long as possible. I am proud to highlight some of the benefits PACE brings to seniors in our community.

What makes Florida PACE Centers Miramar extremely special is our dedicated interdisciplinary team, which cares for our participants and ensures optimal outcomes.

Every day, our Adult Day Health Center is active with various activities and events and serves as the hub for social engagement and community involvement. Coming up on July 26 is Florida PACE Centers Miramar’s second annual senior Olympics, where participants play backyard games like bucket toss and balloon volleyball to earn medals. Last year’s inaugural event was a huge success, and our staff is looking forward to seeing everyone participate. We also recently piloted GrandPad®, which was very successful in engaging our participants and resulted in significantly decreasing their score on the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS).

Florida PACE Centers Miramar is a vital resource for seniors in our community, promoting health, independence, and a high quality of life. Through our comprehensive, personalized, and community-based approach, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of the elderly and their families.
